These have fascinated me since I was a child. I had one I used to look at for hours, but we lost it when we moved.

Click on this link to see a big zoomed in pic of two beautiful geodes. The purple one has amethyst, and the blue one has quartz. So lovely!

You can resuse them, you can drop them and they don't break, they can be weapons, you can clip them onto a bag, you can hold them with a finger or two if your arms are full of other stuff, and they don't leak, and you don't have to use plastic water bottles.

THESE THINGS ROCK.

Since they were all put on netflix, I've come to love this show dearly. :3

You go still... it sounds like Fido's breathing is regular. You shift slightly, ever so gently to peek and see if his eyes are closed. They are closing, and serene. You think about your own comfort (your arm is already falling asleep), but it's so precious that Fido is falling asleep on you that you just lay there, arms full of sleepy, warm, loving dog... and you just relax.

I have a sleeping kitty on my lap right now. ♥

They are cool and drapey to wear. When I wear them, I get called a hippie sometimes. After further questioning, I found out it's an overall "hippie" effect to which the long drapey skirts contribute.

Mexican hot chocolate is chocolate-y and sweet. There's a spice to it, like chai and cinnamon.

The one I have most access to is Abuelita, meaning little grandmother. :)

When I make the hot chocolate from the wedges, it leaves some granules in the bottom of the mug. I have very early memories of finishing off a mug of hot chocolate and seeing the granules there and trying them (but for some reason they're not too palatable so I always dump them down the drain).

There's also Ibarra brand. I've tried it and it's around the same as Abuelita.

One time when I worked at an ice cream place, I brought abuelita to work and blended it in a milkshake with a bit of ice and coffee. It was absolutely divine -- the most delicious iced coffee chocolate spice beverage amazingness I have ever tasted. <3

If you get a chance, try some mexican hot chocolate! It's delicioso! :9

A good cup of coffee is the best, especially when you have a minute to sip it and enjoy its flavor.

These backpacks are so handy!

I use them for when I bike back and forth to where I live and my mom's house... or if I bike to the local store to get a few things... or if I go on a day trip somewhere and I don't want to carry my entire purse... They're just so handy! And when you don't want to use it, it rolls up into a small little wad and can be kept in my purse. XD

Additionally I adore using reusable grocery bags for many things, from groceries to laundry to speech therapy materials.

I really appreciate these bags!

I adored this movie as a kid, and even now I enjoy it. I haven't seen it lately! Netflix instant doesn't have it, and neither did the local DVD rental store. :/

This post on Buzzfeed basically explains some of the many reasons this movie is awesome. They didn't even mention the sasquatch dancing to Stayin' Alive by the Bee Gees.

Would you believe me if I told you I've loved this video since I was a little girl? It was a video on Sesame Street. I remember it from that long ago! My mom said it fascinated me so much and that I'd hold up my own crayons and stare at them like the little girl does in the video-- as if staring at it with one eye would magically transport me into the video.

The video is cool. It's neat how crayons are made. The music is pretty cool too.

I have no idea why I enjoy this so much. Drinking the chocolate milk spoonful by spoonful is just so much better than drinking it regularly with lips.

The bigger bowl the spoon has, the better. And it needs to be made of metal because then it's a cold oral sensation.

Maybe it's just the combo of yummy milk, sweetness, satisfying proteins and fats, and the cold spoon that altogether combined make me love it so much.

Isn't it a lovely smell when you dig and smell the earth? It smells so good, so right somehow. I think this scent resonates deeply with my soul.

Dandelion flowers grow in clusters or alone, and I think they look like stars. If the grassy area is big, it's like the grass is the night sky punctuated by bright star/dandelion constellations.

I don't know the proper term for these cuts, but I call them pixie cuts and I really like them. Now, one on me....I don't think my face shape would make that look good, but on other women I love the look. Girls, if you are bold enough and got this haircut, keep on rocking it!

I like riding my bike. Cars are good for getting places, but you step on the gas and you're there. With bikes, you push and pedal. The power of your own legs and willpower gets you there! It takes longer than by car, but the journey is so much part of the destination. :) Where I live, everyone uses cars and there isn't much of a alternate-commute culture. I will make my own way, pedal by pedal.

But forget riding my bike to places on a rainy day. Just ignore all of the above spiel and give me my car keys thank you very much. :P I am not a fan of wet socks and underwear, and water in your eyes.
