This is so neat. In general (lol, right hemi here) the left hemisphere concentrates on important details, while the right hemisphere looks at a holistic big picture as to what all those details mean together. That's great; fascinating, actually. But it had an effect on culture? Say waaat?

OMG I never thought of it like that, but it makes so much sense! The frontal lobe INHIBITS! That explains so much!

The end got a little too psychological and cultural for me. Perhaps I'm too left-hemisphere orientated? Quite interesting! We are a left-hemisphere orientated culture, and that ending line was so powerful!

That was fascinating. I think some of it might have been a bit over my head but I enjoyed listening to it and found it thought provoking. Thanks for posting this!

You're welcome! Honestly, I'm quite selfish and post stuff like this for myself and my own pleasure, and I don't consider the people on my friends list. Is that good LJ etiquette? Should I make private some of my more personal, own-interest posts? I don't know because this is the first time I've had friends on here! *blushes* Your advice on this matter would be highly appreciated!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the brain so much, it's amazing. I eat stuff like this UP. It's an amazing organ.

Hm, Idk if it's good LJ etiquette or not, I just think that you should post what you want to post. I used to worry a lot about whether my flist would be annoyed by something I posted, but a bunch of people said, hey, it's your journal, post what you want. So now I do. And you never know who would enjoy the thing you posted for yourself, and then you'd have someone to geek out about it with, too. I think it's all good. :D

This was seriously fascinating (when I wasn’t getting distracted by the extremely clever illustrations). Really, really interesting. It made me go find out who was actually lecturing. Thanks for making me use my gray matter!

I love this youtube channel! The lectures for which they make drawings are the best. Flourish and learn, Zephy! Grow and blossom~
