1/100 things: Socks

I'm gonna do the 100 things thingie! I'm gonna list 100 things that make me happy, of course. There are easily more than 100 things in life that make me happy, so let's get started.

My first thing is the simple pleasure of wearing socks. I like the texture and pressure on my feet. It's like my feet are being hugged by something soft. I like to sleep in them, and pad around the house in them. If they're warm from the dryer, that's a bonus. It's not that I dislike being barefoot, but wearing socks gives my feet a much more comfortable and enjoyable existence. Sometimes I like tube socks for the sensation of the fabric around my ankles, but other times I like little footie ones. I don't prefer a color, but I do prefer cotton. I don't prefer the ones with grippy bottoms when I'l puddling around the house, but I do like the grips for when I go jogging.

So there's one. What a boring start. But I have 99 more to go, so.

That's so interesting! Socks are one of the first things I make sure to throw off when I get home because I don't like the fabric around my ankles. Now slipper socks, the fuzzy ones? LOVE those. Those pretty much fall into the comfort that you're talking about. :)

Omg this is ME. I wear my socks all the time. I hate to walk barefoot around my house. I just like the way the socks feel on my feet. :) you said it exactly. I sleep in them too, & I sleep naked except for the socks! It's a very cozy, lovely feeling IMO.

Well, socks is nice. :-) I usually wear fuzzy sucks when I go to bed. Since my feet seem to be constantly cold. *lol*
