22/100: Cocktail umbrellas

These things fascinated me as a child. I loved them, treasured them. The umbrellas are so delicate and colorful, and even open and close. I love the little scratchy noise they make when you open and close them. I played with the miniature barbie dolls that came in McDonald's happy meals, and these umbrellas were the perfect size for them. I would grieve hardcore when one of the umbrellas broke.

They are! So small and delicate! They are so colorful and brighten up the drink, I guess. They're just fun to play with even without a drink.

Aren't they precious things? So colorful and tropical. It's neat how small, delicate, and intricate they are. So much fun with my little dolls and these umbrellas...

There is even a little ring that keeps the umbrella open. I love-d them too, but could never stop myself from ruining them in a few moments. STill can't, I'm fiddling too much with stuff all the time.

Hehehe, are you a fiddly-handsy person? My brother is the same, he has to always have something in his hands to fiddle with, especially when he's talking.

These umbrellas are indeed delicate. I'm picturing you taking one out of the box, opening and closing it in delight until you break it, and then getting sad. Back to the box for another one! And at your side, a growing pile of broken umbrellas increases. XD

There's a lot of colors! I think the colors and flowery design is the best part about these little umbrellas. Did you ever manage to collect them all?
