melluransaThere are languages with vowels you have to inhale?!? Just that fact alone is amazing, but there are plenty more here. There are languages with over 350 genders? I thought Spanish was hard enough with 3 genders. German has 6 very specific cases, but Estonian has around 40?! And I can't believe they link morphemes like that in Turkish! And in Chinese, you can say a simple sound like "Guh" but there are several different types of intonation, so several different meanings! Sweet Heavens to Betsy! And to think people who speak these grow up learning it, without even really thinking about it. Wow! I always thought English was wonky, but it's really not so bad; we just spell things confusingly.
