Wooden spoons, wooden bowls, drumsticks, creaky wooden stairs, woodpeckers pecking wood, knocks on doors and tables, the slide of a wooden board against another one, maracas, claves, castanets, xylophones, marimbas... just wood. I love how rich and warm wood sounds. It's softer and richer than tingy things made of metal. Not that metallic sounds are bad (I love those too), but wood is so much more lovely.

Hear the sound of a little wooden ball hit pieces of wood in tones, to play a song. This video is amazing and so pretty.

Oh, that's cool! We have woodpeckers here, and they're so loud. I always worry about them getting headaches because it just seems painful, poor little birds. xD Now, if it were the ducks... let them peck their heads off! :P
