melluransaMario Party is something my family has played together for many years, ever since we had the N64! There are 9 games in the franchise, I believe. Our favorite is Mario Party 2.
The premise is to move around on the game board, collecting enough coins to buy a star. Whoever has the most stars wins. At the end of each round of turns, you play a minigame and you can also earn coins that way. The minigames are what makes Mario Party fun!
One time my family was playing it and my mom was chewing some gum. She got so excited that she started choking on her gum and pounding the sofa cushion. My brother and I thought she was just lamenting expressively that she lost the minigame, but she was choking. She heimliched herself and dislodged the gum, and lived. We're glad she lived.
I always play as Princess Peach, and my brother is always Yoshi! My mom is usually always Luigi.
We also have Mario Party 7 and 8, but those aren't as fun as MP2.
I played it earlier today! I won.
I smoked the competition, actually. 8 stars. That's how it's done.
