The origin of the Tokio Hotel frontman’s surname is not completely clear. It might come from the name of a Slavic town, originally perhaps Kovalovica or Kovalici. These names contain the Slavic word koval (blacksmith), well known from the Polish surname Kowalski, one of the most common Polish family names. However, if the family comes from the former East Prussia, which I don’t know, it will be based on a Baltic name – the Lithuanian káulas (meaning bone, leg, stone, the stone in stone fruit) – with an added Slavic suffix -itz.

Billenia17, one of my favorite Bill and Tom video makers, has her account on youtube suspended! Man! I have so many vids from her, tagged as hers. :( I hope she kept copies and uploads them to her second channel. Sigh.

Tom himself said this, this very video, explains why he isn't into long-term relationships. Yes, I'm loling but I'm also sad for him, cuz at his level of celebrity this is all he'll ever get. At the same time I love this video! I haven't laughed so hard in a long time!

Look at the freiheit-ness of it. Whoosh! And look at his mandible! You can see his thyroid prominence too! Lecker...
I can say he's taught me anatomy and physiology of the head and neck because he really has. One performance I was watching his neck, and the muscles of inspiration contracting and relaxing as he sang. "Oh look, his sternocleidomastoid is contracting. What a lovely sternocleidomastoid he has."
