Mellow Marshmallow

By Clazziquai Project with English subs. I had no idea how lovely the lyrics are! About waking up and falling asleep next to someone you love. The way they sing the duet combined with the lines is so precious. Like they sing apart, up until the line "I found my path for the first time." And that's when they sing together. So cute! And of course, the song is the smoothest thing ever. Love this band.

This post will contain much fangirling and screaming. I was typing this as the event was streaming! <3 Yay! My girls won best band in the world!!!!!! :D

I was first introduced to k-pop in Spring 2009, I think. I've been hooked ever since. This was the first video and song I heard. It was recommended by an online friend of mine who shared my interest in jpop which stemmed from our interest in anime. So this... this is another level that most certainly wasn't jpop, and I loved it so much more. From there.....like, all I listen to is either Kpop, Tokio Hotel, or La Oreja De Van Gogh (a band from Spain). That's about it.

This band has changed a lot since this time, which was considered their glory days. They've since split, and it got ugly with legal and business issues. It's a lost era for this group now, so it's nostalgic and slightly sad to watch this. It brings back memories of studying for this one class in the library, and me and my brother fangirling over this group.

I admire remixes that give the song a new flavor, that are a unique take on the song. Since I want to hear remixes like that, I also demand such a standard from myself when I make a remix. (I despise remixes where people just overlap a drum loop over the original song, pitch it higher and leave it at that, and mess with the pan. I heard a remix of monsoon once in which the audio panned from left to right ear extremely fast, and it inspired instant rage in me. Cannot compute. My auditory lobe was like "GRR CAPSLOCK RAGE MAKE IT STOP.")

So anyway, my remixes. This one is my masterpiece. I'm playing the piano, and I added every instrument with love and affection~ People love it. Someone said it sounds like Ludovico Einaudi, which is the best compliment I have ever received in my life. Ever.

I have a Humanoid remix sitting there on my hardrive. It's awful. I tried to take an orchestral approach but it refuses to comply. I can also play Zoom Into Me, play and sing. I could replace the twins and get paid less to do both their jobs at once. But, I'm not as nice to look at!

My drive home today was interesting... My ipod shuffled to some of the sexier songs I have. It didn't shuffle to all of these in a row, but over my whole 45 minute drive home. X)

Juice, which is just a girl orgasming with some slinky lounge music in the background. It's my brother who listens to stuff like this, not me! He's the one who downloaded it...

Hurricanes and Suns. Starting the off the drive home with Bill's sexi hexi low voice is always a great idea.

Sinner, which makes me moan every time I hear it start. Two beats in is all it takes. Unf; and the fact that it's Taeyang's song makes it all the more unf.

With U; the intro of which always makes me bite my lip. Then the song starts, eh, whoop-de-doo. But that intro. . . .

Dr. Feel Good, which makes me want to find a better doctor.

Niña, si esta cancion no la hubiera sacado la oreja y la ubieras sacado tu en ingles... aun asi me encantariaaaa.. de verdad te quedo perfecta y es cierto no es el exacto sentimiento pero el que tu le das es uno nuevo y diferente... eso hace un interprete... excelente te felicito.. me gusto tanto que en cierto punto la empece a cantar XD

Girl, if this song wasn't released by "la oreja de van gogh" and was made by you, in english, I would still love it! It's true, you did so perfect... and sure, it's not the exact feeling like the original; but what you give it is something new and different... You made an interpretation. Excellent-- congratulations! I liked it so much that at one point I started to sing along! XD

Yay... country pop. So here is a half humorous, half serious explanation to Lady Gaga's latest video, "You and I." For whatever reason, there is an umlaut over the "u." That makes it silly, but whatever.

Okay so she's walking, she's been walking a long way from how her feet look. She arrives at an ice cream truck but she doesn't like vanilla. She wanted chocolate. Vanilla is all they sell because that's what everyone else likes (the ice cream truck is labeled "Follow the Crowd.") They like white and pure ice cream. Purity.

Gaga was once white and pure, like a pretty girl who played with dolls...but then she got married. She managed to escape her insane marriage, and her on the run is where where the MV starts. So after her escape, not only did the ice cream man tell her "no vanilla," he taunted her with her lost innocence by waving a doll at her. This made her experience flashbacks.
